TC ULTRA with auricap tone capacitors, Clarostat Mil-Spec potentiometer, Carling Power switch

  • Heavily lacquered Tweed, finger jointed pine cabinet. Built true to the originals. Leather handle, Sphinx glides and all stainless hardware. Correct alignment of the tweed.

  • Stainless Steel Chassis.  Will never rust or corrode and does not conduct magnetic flux. This quiets the amplifier. Polished stainless face will never pit, oxidize or corrode. Razor sharp white screened lettering.

  •  Premium Power Transformer. With multiple primaries this amp can be re-wired for all international voltages. Also has an internal 'Faraday' hum shield for quiet operation.

  • NOS paper bobbin Output transformer for True Vintage TONE!  NO Plastic bobbin tranny even comes close!

  • NOS RCA Tubes throughout! All Brand New Old Stock. 5Y3GT, 6V6GTA & 12AX7A.

  • Jensen re-issue or Weber VST Signature Speaker. 4 ohms, 16 ounce ceramic magnet, 1" voice coil.

  • Mil-spec Garolite G10 eyelet tag board. No Tweed Disease here! Paper Fiber boards warp and absorb moisture causing false capacitance, crackle and hum.

  • DI 'Line Out' recording jack. Slave the amp to a PA or record direct through this jack.

  • Switchable Negative feedback loop. Switch it off to make the amp even dirtier!

  • Twisted two wire heater circuit. 100 ohm center tap with raised ground for extremely quiet operation.

  • All premium components. Sprague Atom electrolytics, Orange Drop tone caps, Carbon comp resistors in the signal path, 'Flameproof' Metal oxide resistors in power circuits, Switchcraft jacks, Belton phenolic tube sockets, Unistrand PVC wire, All stainless steel hardware. Clarostat Mil-spec pot, auricaps and Carling power switch on Ultra models.
