The SLOPE switch changes the value of the slope resistor in the preamp acting as a mid/low boost/cut. TAPER cuts the voltage to the Preamp and Phase inverter decreasing feedback. (Under Chassis)

The Harper is a collaboration between Doug Stalters (Vintone Circuits) and Gerald Weber (Kendrick Amplifiers). Kendrick's Custom Wound Interleaved Paper Bobbin Transformers and Smoothing Choke are used for superior sound and bulletproof reliability.
A pair of 6L6s really belt out the tone. This baby can hold it's own in almost any live situation, plus has a line out jack to slave to a P.A. or another amp. Rectification is through a GZ34 tube. Any 5 volt Rectifier can be used or a Solid State RECTI-FIRE .
