      Class A, Cathode Self Biased.

The DIAMOND BACK is Pure Class A and Cathode self biased, with added gain stages in a special configuration, and her "Master Volume" type circuit, she takes this to new levels of grind-age! 

She's very responsive to pick attack, with Miles and miles of sustain!

So, why are there two inputs?

One input bypasses the first stage of the first preamp tube. The other utilizes both. The Gain Blast switch adds two gain stages to the circuit from either input, giving you 3,4,5,or SIX lethal gain stages.  Throwing this switch adds an incredible gain boost allowing you to cut through the mix for solos and blazing leads. "Throttle it down" with the volume control on the guitar to clean things up a bit and then you have 'it' right there, at your fingertips, always at the ready.

So, Now you can sell all those distortion boxes and sustain pedals!!!

Nothing else sounds like the "real deal"!

 
Features

• GZ34 Tube rectified for that 'sag' and miles of sustain that just can't be had any other way.

• Switch-able Solid State rectifier to tighten up the attack.

• Dual inputs, combined with an exclusive "Gain Blast" switch that allows you to go from three to SIX blistering gain stages! Go from a very Mild Crunch to "Melt Down The Walls!" And all stops along the way. 

• "Master Volume" type arrangement gives you TOTAL control over the preamp AND the power sections of the amplifier. SEARING GAIN can be had at conversation levels!!

• Cathode, self biasing. No more trips to the Tech for biasing! Cathode bias constantly adjusts itself to the condition of the tubes as well as what's going on within the amp. This allows the amp to 'breathe' adding to your tonal freedom.  Much longer tube life can be expected!!! 

• Three band Active tone stack. Bass, Mid, and Treble controls let you shape your tone. The pots I use have a complete usable range with no 'dead spots'. They ALL actually DO something, and are very interactive.

• Line out jack to 'slave' to another amp or PA system. Power output is between 15 and 20 watts. She will get plenty loud enough for small to medium gigs. Slave or Mic her for larger venues. 

• Every Vintone Circuits Amplifier is Custom built, one at a time, by hand. Only the finest materials are used. Overkill is the norm, resulting in products that are "Bullet Proof", designed and built to last a lifetime..
