Hey Doug,

Here’s my first thoughts after hitting the amp with some electricity….I love it.
The 6384 tube sounds great at full tilt, authoritative and solid in the bass and crisp in the treble and the rectifier switching is super for altering the low end and breakup characteristics of the various tubes. I don’t have a closed back 1x12 speaker cabinet but I think it will probably sound best through a closed back cab so that the subtleties of various tweaks that you can do to it are audible. I’ll keep twiddling and tweaking and let you know what setting and combinations of tubes I like best in a few days.
